2.008 Machining Tool Library
- You can find the tool library in the 2.008 Fusion Team hub (you must be within the 2.008 Fusion Team hub to access these tools). Follow these instructions on how to "Enable Cloud Libraries" in your preferences.

Important things to remember:
- You must enable cloud libraries to access the tools available for machining.
- When creating a New Set Up, choose your Work Coordinate System (WCS) as the top center box point and leave extra stock (0.010"-0.050") above your mold for facing.
- General order of operations for machining:
- Centerdrilling/Drilling
- Facing
- Roughing
- Finishing
- Runners/Gates
- Simulate your CAM to ensure there are no crashes and to check machine time
- Select the correct Work Coordinate Offset for the correct mold half:
- G55 for the core
- G56 for the cavity
Toolpath Strategy
- Roughing
- We recommend 3D adaptive clearing for most roughing operations. The goal is to get rid of as much material as you can, more quickly than a finishing toolpath, so you can get to the finishing operations.
- Finishing
- There are several finishing tools paths available to you. Try out different toolpaths on the areas you want to machine and see in simulation how well the particular ones work.
